AMASE is an Autistic People’s Organisation (APO) that aims to represent its autistic members, as well as the broader autistic community, in issues that affect us. We have an online community for members, hosted on Discord, and run semi-regular online and in-person events. Some of these are open to the general public, and you can see these events on our Luma page.
We also aim to promote better understanding of autism, and encourage the growth of the autistic community, by running workshops and collating resources. You can read more about our key aims and objectives here, and read our full constitution here.
We operate on democratic principles, and have an entirely autistic committee, which currently comprises Fiona Clarke (Chair), Leo Starrs-Cunningham (Treasurer), Fergus Murray, Pete Hamilton, Olly Darrah, Luis Robertson and Jemaine Kerr.
We were founded in 2017. Read more about our history here.
